His teammate Norris seems to be shinning brighter contrary to expectations; when after 10 races, Ricciardo is ninth with one top-five finish to his name but Norris places 3rd, with three podium finishes, and all but two races in the top five. It is evident that results matter but that is not what the F1 story is all about; in review, Daniel has not made any mistakes with his new team except for a crash in qualifying at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Australian driver stated that, although the frustration is clearly not getting to him, he would definitely like to take the Glory as Lauren's new driver but that, experience has taught him to see this as a process. He believes there is a reason why things are not going great now; that all he needs now is to take a breath, step back and understand why.
 

A decade after his F1 debut, Daniel has learned to navigate the difficult times a little more gracefully. Although the Australian driver believes he is not where he wants to be, he understands the importance of not overthinking his current situation; "sometimes, you do just need a little bit of patience and big picture stuff". McLaren is a perfect environment now than it was a few years ago when it labored through Formula One with its competitive Honda engine. With the arrival of team boss Andreas Seidl, McLaren has marked a change, both in performance and mindset and the environment is significantly different. This new approach suits Ricciardo's own outlook.
 
Daniel recognizes team effort and acknowledges that everyone is doing as much as they can to help and he honestly can't ask for more. "Everything within the team at the moment is I want to say, near perfect, the only thing that's not really there is the on-track results, or at least consistently". 
 
The Formula One Season continues with the Belgian Grand Prix on Aug. 29.

I also make sure my vehicle is 'up to code', meaning that I do my best to maintain it. When I go to the shop for an oil change, I make sure my tires have enough tread to handle the occasional harsh conditions that I drive. Also that my wiper blades can squeegee away rain and snow to keep the windshield clear, as well as knowing that my brake pads are in good shape to provide even braking. To provide additional safety I have window film installed on all my windows, except the windshield. 

 
Window film helps to keep me safe in a number of ways. It reduces glare, so the sun doesn't hit me so hard on the driver's side window. I wear sunglasses, but to have the hot sun hitting the side of my face still made me squint and feel uncomfortable.

"Unprotected glass, even glass that is colored to appear darkened, allows a significant amount of the sun's damaging UV rays to pass straight in and onto your skin, making sun protection necessary inside as well as outside," said Darrell Smith, executive director of the International Window Film Association (IWFA). "All quality window films block 99 percent of the sun's UV rays and should be installed. The impact of the sun's UV harmful rays are cumulative and may lead to skin cancer," said Smith.
 
Study after study by dermatologists state that most skin cancers show up on the left side of the face and upper arm; this is the side most exposed to the sun while driving a vehicle. On average, one person dies of melanoma skin cancer every hour, according to the Melanoma Foundation.

EFFECTS OF SKIN CANCER

__Here are 7 ways you can prepare your car for storage.__
 

1. __Park in a garage or use a car cover__. Parking in a garage will keep it safe and clean but if you don’t have that option you can use a car cover. Use a quality and breathable cover so it doesn’t trap moisture underneath and mess with the car paint. 

2. __Clean the interiors thoroughly__
Nobody wants to come back to a smelly or filthy car when they are ready to drive. So it is highly important to clean the car thoroughly before parking as this will prevent rot which can leave a bad smell when u come back or attract rodent which can destroy the floors. 

3. __Battery maintenance__
It is better to remove the battery if the car is not going to be use for some time. Smear petroleum jelly or grease on the terminals and the wire ends to prevent rusting. Ensure that the battery is fully charged and top up the water level. Store the battery in a cool and dry place, well away from direct sunlight.
 
4. __Do not engage the handbrake.__
Engaging the handbrake over an extended period can result in the brake pads getting stuck to the discs or drums. Use a wheel cork or wood to stop the tires and put in first gear to prevent rolling. 

5. __Keep the tyres properly inflated__
Check the tyre pressure and make sure the tyres are at the correct pressure. Inflate them to the maximum. Proper inflation help prevent cracking of the sidewalls and flat spots. Check the valves and valve caps for leaks and that the valve caps fit properly. 

6. __Fill up the fuel tank.__
This will keep away moisture entering the tank and prevent rusting of the fuel tank. Of course, be sure that the tank is sealed properly as well. 

7. When you are finally ready to use the car, don’t run it immediately, start the car and leave idle for 10-15 minutes.
